Gonic Trails end-of-summer walk

We just can't get enough of the fungal diversity at the Gonic Trails, so we are headed back again! We found all sorts of great mushrooms earlier in the season here and are looking forward to returning to see what the end-of-summer season holds for us.

Be sure to bring a basket (or bag, or hat.... something to hold your treasures!), as well as bug spray and hiking boots. The trails are easy to navigate but we typically spread into the woods to flip logs and find the good stuff. We will begin with a brief overview at the trail head before heading out, then will lay out our finds at the end and have an ID table talk/discussion.
