About the event
Join us on our search for the rare Echinodontium ballouii that only grows on Atlantic White Cedar in the winter and early spring. We'll spend some time talking about why it is so rare. There are no guarantees but there are other fungi to be found even when there is snow on the ground. Please dress appropriately for the weather - it could be snowy, it could be muddy! Binoculars may be helpful to spot fruiting fungi further up the trees.
Limited to 15 participants - ALL must register. Free for NHMS members, $5 for non-members.
